AARP: The homepage for AARP has a vast array of information for those 50 and older.

Caregiving Alliance: The Family Caregivers Alliance is ideal for caregivers of adults with Alzheimer's disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, ALS and related brain disorders. Features the latest information on Medicare changes and links for families, caregivers, professionals, policy-makers, and the media.

New Caregivers Army: The Alzheimer's Disease Caregivers' Army has launched a worldwide petition drive in support of finding a cure for Alzheimer's Disease. Here you will be able to read and sign the petition.

Caregivers Assistance Network: Offers links and resources helpful to caregivers in the Cincinnati area.

Caregiving On-line: Provides access to support, information and resources to care for an aging relative.

CareGuide: CareGuide's mission is to utilize the strengths of the Internet by providing personalized, geographically relevant information about child and elder care.

Case Management Resource Guide: A free, searchable database of more than 110,000 specialty healthcare services, facilities, businesses and organizations, including homecare, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living facilities, subacute care, addiction and psychiatric services, medical product manufacturers, pharmaceuticals and air medical transport.

New Empowering Caregivers Site: A site for all caregivers featuring articles, support, encouragement and tools for caregivers of the elderly, spouses and children. You will also find resources, chats, a healing circle, boards, inspiration, a free newsletter and journal exercises for caregivers to process issues with loved ones.

Extended Care Information Network: A resource for extended care assistance, news and advice. ECIN provides information on more than 40,000 providers in the U.S. including nursing homes, home health and equipment agencies, hospice, retirement communities and long-term nursing care.

GriefNet: This site provides an integrated approach to on-line grief support. It was developed to help people working through all kinds of loss and grief issues. A companion site, KIDSAID, provides a safe environment for kids and their parents to find information and ask questions about this sensitive topic.

Hoffcomp Web Site (An Alzheimer's Family): This site is produced and maintained by the Men's Alzheimer's Support Group of Rochester, Minnesota. It was originally created by Bob Hoffmann as part of the Hoffmann Family Home Page (whose journal remains a part of this site). Their objective is to share coping experiences and tips that may be useful to others caring for a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or other form of dementia.
